In my practice of therapeutic massage I call on two decades of intuition, compassion and clinically-informed touch to encourage presence and wholeness, and to optimize the functioning of systems and movement. I listen carefully to the words, movements and tissues of my clients to inform the work needed to restore organization and ease throughout the body.
Over the past 10 years I have specialized in assisting clients heal from injuries, surgeries, debilitating conditions and traumas such as auto accidents and falls.
I have been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1997, am Board Certified and have held National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork through NCBTMB since 1999. My Certification in Cranial Sacral Therapy was earned in 2004. In 2006 I became certified in Traditional Thai Massage while at the Chiang-Mai School of Thai Massage in Thailand. I am currently working toward certifications in Neural and Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute. I practice all of the modalities listed in this website.
I thrive on constantly learning more through working with clients, colleagues, my own body, studying anatomy and physiology and training with masters of bodywork.
I am a long time student of holistic wellness. The body is my greatest teacher. I am a certified Health Educator, Yoga Instructor and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2009. I approach my clients with an intuitive, nurturing, therapeutic and holistic attitude toward wellness.
My specialties include Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, CranioSacral, Trigger Point therapy, and Energy Healing.
My passion is to learn and help others find balance and ease in body.
